Movement in combat is a matter of getting where you want without getting hit. There are two ways to maek that happen. One is crawling so low that bullets will not reach you. The other is to move so fast that the other fellow does not have time to aim and shoot you. You use which ever looksl iek ti will work in a particular situation.
Crawling is useful when there is low cover. The Low Crawl is slow but safe. You literally crawl on yoru belly, head pressed to the ground. A high crawl; is only good when there is higher cover.
The dash is a quick bound. The idea is to run from oen covered spot to another in a quick, fast dash. You get up running and drop into cover. Tghe idea is to move and get cover before the enemy has time to aim and shoot. Moving forward is a series of these short bounds.
Below are images of both techniques. These will give you an idea of how reasl soldiers cover ground in combat.
