Infantry - Cover & Observation


The idea behind cover and concealment is to remain unseen by the enemy.  Concealment merely hides you, while cover puts something solid between you and the enemy.  These simple methods are ways to observe while avoiding being seen by the enemy.  The 1941 images may seem quaint,. but they are still taught to soldiers because they work.

A soldier prepares to move to a place for watching the enemy. He picks his route and next positon before moving.
