(Editor's Note: this article appeared in the October 1964 edition of Milihistriot. It is about the fictional army created by the U.S. Army as an opponent for miltiary exercises. "Aggressor" was a way of getting around referring to fictional adversaries in more realistic terms. It was replaced i nthe 1970s by Threat forces, which were allusion to the Soviet Union, Red China and their allies. "Aggressor" is a ready-made army for those needing a fictional adversary.
