The forward part of the Yule Village Layout is an area we call The Victorian Village. It is made of seven buildings, gazebo and pond from the Kirkland village we had bought in 1999. The Victorian Village also includes figures from that set, plus one or two Lemax people.
Here the train passes the center of town. This is the main section of the Victorian Village |
Across the tracks is the public house and puppet theater house. In the foreground is a lighted Yule tree, firewood, etc. Behind the fence is a small playground. |
The Florist Shop. Note how figures are placed in small scenes.
|
A close-up of the Victorian Policeman (Lemax) and the playground. Note that the Police figure is of a larger scale than both house and children. Placing him in the foreground mitigates some of the size difference. |
