These shops are to the right rear of the Yule Village. They represent our "Modern Era" village, being a type one might see from about 1940 to the present. Most of the figures are Lemax, and they are much larger in scale than the buildings, but not the bridge. The stone bridge can be used in any scale from 1/64 to 1/32. Most of the figures are involved in Winter play.
Here we see the sledders and a boy in the background making snowballs. The shopper near the buildings is about the right scale for them. Larger figures are kept further from houses. |

Directly across the tracks from the New Village is the Diner. This building is scaled much larger than the Village houses. In fact, it is the right size for the larger Lemax figures. This vignette includes boys making a snowman, seated skiers and Santa and Mrs. Claus. |
